The Presqu’île Crozon Foil Festival 2026 came to a fantastic close on Sunday in Camaret-sur-Mer, with a final day dedicated to Pump Foil and the French Championship of the discipline. For this ultimate stage of the competition, the harbor docks transformed into a lively event village, bringing together exhibitors, enthusiasts, and spectators who came to cheer on the top French and international riders.

At the heart of the town, visitors explored booths from Armstrong, AFS, Flitelab*, Duotone, Foil Drive, Axis, Ketos, Lokefoil, as well as Quiver Place and Manéo Opticiens. A central stage with two MCs kept the energy high throughout the day. Over 2,000 visitors attended the events and enjoyed the final day of competition. On the water, riders battled in a discipline as demanding physically as it is spectacular to watch, where technique, rhythm, and the ability to keep the foil flying make all the difference.

Camaret-sur-Mer, the setting for a spectacular final
At 8:00 AM, competitors gathered at the Camaret-sur-Mer harbor master’s office for the briefing. After several days of competition across the Crozon peninsula, the festival shifted scenery to the charming port of Camaret, whose docks provided an ideal venue for the Pump Foil finals.
From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, riders competed in qualifying rounds on a course laid out right in front of the event village. Competitors launched in groups of four from specially installed pontoons. Their goal was to reach an offshore buoy, round it, and head back to cross the finish arch. The fastest times qualified for the final stages, which were then contested head-to-head in a one-on-one format. This layout was particularly thrilling for spectators, who could follow the close battles right from the quays.
