Open de France Crozon Foil Festival
From October 13 to 18, 2026 on Crozon Peninsula, Finistère, Brittany (France)
The concept
Organized by the Crozon Waterman Club and supported by the City of Crozon and the City of Camaret-sur-Mer, the Crozon Foil Festival 2026 is back, hosting the world’s best foil athletes for the finest competition of Downwind, Surf Foil, and Pump foiling on the Peninsula of Crozon. Get ready for 6 days of competition from the 13th to the 18th of October 2026, to reward the best men, women and junior athletes in each sport plus the overall ranking.
This year the event is also the final stage of the Open de France Foil season and will crown the 2026 French Foil Champions for the french athletes among the overall rankings of the event.
How to register
The Crozon Foil Festival offers worldclassl competitions in SUP Foil Downwind, Surf Foil, and Dockstartpumping. For each event, a limited number of spots for both men and women has been defined to guarantee the best organization conditions:
– Downwind SUP Foil : 80 places
– Surf Foil : 50 places
– Dock start : no limitation
The Crozon Foil Festival aims to offer the highest level of competition and international representation for its three comps. The event team receives many registration requests and will do its best to respond to each one by confirming the selection or placing the athlete on a waiting list.
For Downwind SUP Foil registration, athletes who finished in the top 30 in at least one of the two runs of the 2025 event are already selected (results here)
For the others, good results obtained in events during the season may facilitate the confirmation of their selection.
For Surf Foil registration, men athletes who finished in 13th position or less in 2025 are pre-qualified (results here).
For those not automatically selected, we team up with Kernow Foil Classic (September 29 – October 4) to host a “Celtic Crown” Surf Foil ranking common to the two event and will hand wildcards to the best performers at their venue too. (more informations here).
For all athletes not automatically qualified, an application file will need to be completed and sent to allow our event team to confirm or put your registration on waiting list.

Place
The Crozon peninsula is located at the westernmost point of Brittany. It forms the central ridge of the trident by which the Breton peninsula ends and is entirely encompassed within the Armorique Regional Natural Park.
Surrounded by the sea, the peninsula is a destination that appeals to foilers of all levels thanks to its idyllic spots. Its climate and stunning wild landscapes offer magnificent sessions, and it is now one of the best places in the world for downwind and surf foiling
